I am starting this (very sleek) blog to document and hopefully gather my thoughts as I attempt to pickup a new hobby – recreational drone flying and (hopefully) aerial photography.
I can’t honestly say I know why I started reading up on it or decided to embark on this journey. Likely it has to do with the very long year of covid-19 we have all endured and a desire to do something that isn’t my Netflix feed. Either way, I caught the bug and my family is supportive so away we go!
My goal with this site isn’t so much to draw readers, but to document and ruminate on what I experience as I move into this world like a bull in a china shop. If someone is reading this, I hope my experiences help you as well (or at least give you a laugh as I metaphorically run into some walls).
Ideally a year from now this will be a place to document my flights and share whatever photographs I take from them. Either way, here we go!
